In a world where millions of people lack access to affordable electricity due to high costs and economic struggles, and where older solar panels are discarded despite still maintaining a significant portion of their efficiency, we saw an opportunity. Instead of letting these valuable resources end up in landfills, we decided to redirect them to communities in need
We intercept used, quality solar panels and refurbish them. These panels are then donated to low-income families, providing them with free, sustainable power. By doing this, we not only help reduce energy costs for these families but also minimize waste and promote environmental sustainability across the renewable manufacturing sector
Our journey begins in Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory with a poverty rate more than twice that of the mainland’s poorest state and the highest number of households without reliable access to electricity. By providing solar energy assistance, we empower these communities and work toward a brighter, more resilient future. Our vision extends beyond Puerto Rico to other Caribbean islands and impoverished communities on the mainland
